Description
The Nikon Z 6II is the second generation of the popular Nikon Z6 mirrorless full-frame camera. It is the universal multifunctional multimedia camera for photographers and videographers with the excellent ratio between resolution and speed it offers.
Retaining the excellent ergonomics of its predecessor, the Nikon Z6 II offers important improvements such as two memory slots (CFexpress Type B / XQD and SD UHS-II), two EXPEED 6 processors, Eye / Animal AF when shooting video, improved accuracy and speed of AF, more photos in a series and a larger buffer, possibility for constant power supply, HLG video output for HDR video and more.
Sensor
The 24.5-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor delivers high-speed operation and approved low-light performance . The back-illuminated sensor design minimizes noise levels when operating at high ISO values (up to ISO 51200) and contributes to bright and smooth quality at low sensitivities such as ISO 100. The sensor benefits from dual EXPEED 6 processors that provide high speed of operation and the ability to continuously shoot at 14 fps for up to 124 consecutive frames.
Autofocus and stabilization
A 273-point hybrid autofocus system uses both phase-detection and contrast-detection methods for fast and accurate focusing. The system offers eye and animal detection, also functioning in video mode.
A 5-axis sensor-shift Vibration Reduction (VR) mechanism compensates up to five stops regardless of the Z-mount lens used. This system also works with F-mount lenses using the optional FTZ adapter.
Video
The Z6 II supports UHD 4K video recording at up to 30fps and Full HD 1080p recording at up to 120fps, with the ability to save movie files to in-camera memory cards or as an uncompressed file on an optional external recorder via HDMI output.
Added additional features like N-Log, Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG), Focus Peaking, Zebra Stripes and more.
Design
The body of the model is made of light magnesium alloy and is protected from atmospheric influences, dust and moisture.
The Nikon Z6 II is equipped with a 3.2" LCD touchscreen display with 2.1m dots and a tilting design, and one CFexpress Type B/XQD slot and one UHS-II SD card slot offer you flexible storage options for your files.
SnapBridge App
A SnapBridge app lets you update your camera's firmware via your smart device, use it to remotely capture photos and video, or filter and share JPEG or RAW files to any smart device or computer.
