Description
The Sigma Aizu Prime 65mm T1.3 LF FL F/AP5 is a professional Large Format cine lens with an image coverage of up to 46.3 mm, designed for high-end film and video production. With a maximum aperture of T1.3, it provides excellent low-light performance and allows for an extremely shallow depth of field with smooth and natural bokeh, thanks to a 13-blade diaphragm. The 65mm focal length makes it an ideal choice for portraits, details and scenes with a more compressed perspective.
The lens offers natural subject reproduction with soft background separation, while maintaining high sharpness and detail. The coating for various sensor formats from ARRI LF Open Gate, Full Frame and Super 35 – provides flexibility when working with different cameras, with an angle of view of up to 31.5° horizontally on the ARRI LF.
A minimum focusing distance of 61 cm allows for close-up shots with good detail, while the 0.13x (1:7.6) magnification provides additional freedom in composition. The 270° focal length provides precise control during manual focusing, which is key for film production, and the 70° aperture range allows for smooth exposure transitions.
The design is in line with professional standards – 0.8 MOD gears for follow focus systems, 95 mm front diameter for compatibility with matte box accessories and an included support foot with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for stable mounting to a rig.
The lens supports electronic communication via a LEMO 4-pin interface (ZEISS eXtended Data), which allows metadata recording and facilitates post-production.
