The Exascend Element Portable SSD 2TB USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 SSD is a high-speed external SSD designed for fast transfer and reliable storage of large files. With a capacity of 2TB, the drive offers enough space for 4K and 6K video, RAW photos, project archives and working libraries, making it a suitable solution for photographers, videographers and content creators.
The model uses a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, which provides sequential read speeds of up to 2000 MB/s and write speeds of up to 2000 MB/s. This performance allows for fast transfer of large video files and work directly from the external drive without significant lag. To achieve maximum speeds, a compatible USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port is required.
The SSD is powered directly via the USB connection (bus powered) and does not require an external power supply. Power consumption is approximately 4.5 W during active operation and about 1.0 W in idle mode, at an input voltage of 5V DC. This makes it suitable for use with desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices with a compatible USB-C port.
The body is compact and lightweight – measuring 69.8 x 45 x 8 mm and weighing 45 g, making it easy to transport and work in the field. The device is shockproof and offers protection from dust and weather, making it suitable for mobile productions.
Exascend Element Portable SSD does not have hardware encryption or additional security features. Cooling is passive, without a fan. Supports universal compatibility with computer and mobile operating systems.
