Description
The EVE Audio EXO 27 active studio monitor is the most powerful model in the EXO series, designed for professional nearfield and midfield monitoring in larger studio spaces. Featuring a 6.5-inch (165 mm) woofer with a coated aluminum (CAL) cone and an EXO Precision AirMotion high-frequency driver with GDC waveguide, the monitor offers extended bass, high dynamics and exceptional detail in the high frequencies.
The frequency range covers 41 Hz to 24 kHz, which provides deeper and more controlled low-frequency reproduction without the need for a subwoofer in many applications. The maximum sound pressure reaches 122 dB SPL (at 1 m, half space >100 Hz), which allows operation at high levels with sufficient headroom and minimal distortion.
The model features an OLED display on the rear panel and a SMART Control encoder for quick access to volume control, input selection and room acoustics adjustment. The built-in high-resolution A/D converter and powerful DSP processor provide precise signal processing and fine-tuning to different operating conditions.
Connectivity includes XLR and RCA line inputs, coaxial S/PDIF input and output with support for up to 192 kHz/24-bit, and an Ethernet RJ45 port for control via the EVE Control app. Safe fade-in prevents sudden power-on levels, and a front-facing color logo visualizes operating status and signals overload or firmware update.
The housing has a low-diffraction design and rounded edges to minimize reflections. There are four M6 mounting holes on the bottom for flexible positioning. Dimensions are 234 x 280 x 344 mm.
