The M.Zuiko Digital ED 50-200mm f/2.8 IS PRO is the first fixed-aperture super-telephoto lens in the PRO series for the Micro Four Thirds system. The lens offers a 100-400mm equivalent focal length on a full frame camera and a bright f/2.8 aperture throughout the entire range with an all-internal zoom, as well as 5-axis synchronised image stabilization with up to 5.5 stops of compensation and a rugged design that is optimised for extreme conditions in dynamic environments.

Despite its bright aperture, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 50-200 mm f/2.8 IS PRO delivers exceptional resolution and smooth bokeh throughout the range, including at maximum zoom.
Sync IS system with up to 7 stops
Advanced SYNC IS stabilization system, which when used allows you to combine the built-in stabilization in the camera and the lens, upgrading from 5.5 stops of compensation to 7 stops. Which, when used with a camera with available sensor stabilization, allows you to shoot handheld at extremely slow speeds, ensuring sharp images.
Optical construction of 21 elements arranged in 13 groups
The lens' optical design includes Super ED, ED and HR elements that reduce chromatic aberrations and enhance detail across the frame. Even at maximum aperture, the image remains sharp and with correct color reproduction.
ZERO Coating II lens coating
Multi-layer coating significantly reduces flare and ghosting that occurs in direct or side light. This is especially useful when shooting nature, sporting events, or backlit scenes.
