Description
The SmallRig 5589 Cage Kit for Sony FX2 is specially designed for the Sony FX2, combining exceptional protection, stability, and functionality. The kit includes a complete cage, top handle, and quick-mount plate, providing everything you need to build a stable and convenient shooting rig for both handheld and tripod/stabilizer use.
The cage is precision-machined from aluminum, making it extremely strong and durable without adding unnecessary weight to the camera. It offers multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes with ARRI positioning, cold shoe holders for microphones or lights, and an integrated NATO rail for quickly attaching additional accessories such as grips, monitors, and wireless receivers.
The top handle provides a comfortable and stable grip for low-angle shooting, while also providing additional mounting points for accessories. The included Quick Release Plate is compatible with Arca-Swiss systems, allowing for easy transfer between different platforms – tripod, gimbal or arm.
The system is designed to provide full access to all buttons, ports and the battery compartment without having to remove the cage. The mount is stable and secure, thanks to a 1/4"-20 locking screw and side locking mechanism that prevent twisting or vibration during shooting.
