Elements with an aspherical design and one with a high refractive index take care of controlling various aberrations for greater clarity and sharpness of images, and a multi-layer coating reduces reflections and glare for better color reproduction and contrast. Aperture with 9 rounded blades provides smooth and creamy bokeh.
The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DG DN Contemporary is equipped with a fast and quiet stepping motor for reliable focusing in photo and video shooting. A button to switch to full manual focus is also available.
