Description
Canon has announced that it is working on its mirrorless flagship EOS R3 with an all-new compact BSI fullframe sensor developed by the company (for the first time in Canon EOS cameras), object tracking with Deep Learning technology, autofocus control with the eye, 30 frames in second burst shooting with AF / AE tracking, Dual Pixel CMOS autofocus and eye and head tracking.
So far there is no clarity about the price and date of the first deliveries.
At Canon EOS R3, resources focus on excellent autofocus performance and exceptional speed for capturing fast-moving subjects, as well as the professional ergonomics and durability typical of the Canon EOS 1D series' flagship DSLRs.
The new sensor provides significantly faster reading of information and reduction of the "jelly" defect. The autofocus system inherits technology from the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6, adding Deep Learning for even better detection and tracking of subjects, even in adverse conditions.
The Canon EOS R3 viewfinder will allow photographers to set the point at which the camera can focus simply by looking at it (Eye Control AF).
The body of the model includes a built-in vertical grip for comfortable shooting in portrait orientation and additional power supply and promises strength, resistance to weathering and dust protection at the level of the highest class DSLR cameras of the brand. This will make the Canon EOS R3 an excellent choice for wildlife photography, sports and other events.
