Description

The Voigtlander Nokton Classic 40mm f/1.4 SC lens is a fast multi-functional prime lens specially developed for M-mount mirrorless cameras.

The wide aperture allows for both low-light work and excellent control over sharp space and defocus, and the ten blades provide smooth and pleasing bokeh.

The manual focus mechanism allows precise work at a distance of 70 cm from the object.

A single-layer coating applied to elements in the optical circuit limits glare and reflections for improved contrast and color accuracy. This coating is deliberately less effective than conventional multi-layer coatings in order to create a dreamy, low-contrast image that is particularly suitable for black-and-white footage.
