Description
The Panasonic AW-UE5WG Ultrawide ePTZ Camera is a compact 4K ePTZ camera designed for professional video production, streaming, conferencing, education and remote shooting. It combines a 1/2.8-inch MOS sensor with an ultra-wide 121.8° horizontal viewing angle, allowing it to capture a large portion of the scene even in limited space.
The camera records and outputs UHD 4K video at up to 60 frames per second and supports 1080p and 720p at up to 60 fps. Thanks to ePTZ control, framing can be changed remotely without the need for mechanical movement of the housing.
Ultra wide 4K image
The 1/2.8-inch MOS sensor operates at a maximum resolution of UHD 4K and offers a horizontal field of view of 121.8°, a vertical of 87.8° and a diagonal of 129.5°. This makes the AW-UE5WG suitable for capturing groups, presentations, meetings and wide scenes when maximum coverage from a close position is required.
The lens has a maximum aperture of f/2.45 and autofocus. There is also a 5x digital zoom for further framing of distant subjects.
ePTZ control and auto framing
The camera offers electronic pan and tilt, with a range of 110° for pan and 25° for tilt. This allows remote control of composition without physically moving the camera.
The AW-UE5WG also supports AI auto framing functions, including Group Framing and Preset Framing, which can help maintain proper composition during conferences, presentations, and other situations with people involved.
4K60 video and professional connectivity
The camera supports UHD 4K, 1080p and 720p video at up to 60 fps. HDMI, USB-C and RJ45 interfaces are available for connecting to various systems.
Network connectivity enables IP-based video transmission, supporting H.264, H.265 and MJPEG formats. The AW-UE5WG also supports NDI HX3/HX2 streaming for integration into modern IP video environments.
The USB-C interface allows the camera to be used with computer systems and applications that support UVC.
Autofocus and white balance
Autofocus allows the camera to maintain a clear image without the need for constant manual adjustment. The focal range is from 12 mm to 300 mm.
Preset auto white balance modes are available for various lighting conditions, including ATW, AWB, Daylight, and Tungsten.
Remote control and integration
The camera can be controlled with remote controllers such as the Panasonic AW-RM50A, as well as with the RP60, RP150 and RP200 control panels. This makes it suitable for multi-camera configurations and professional video installations.
The AW-UE5WG is designed as a compact solution for situations where 4K quality, wide angle shooting, IP connectivity and remote control are required in a small body.
