Description
The Panasonic AW-HE145WEJ Full-HD 50/60P Integrated PTZ Camera is a professional PTZ camera combining a 1-inch MOS sensor, 20x optical zoom and precise remote control. The model offers UHD 4K output via HDMI, Full HD up to 60p via SDI and IP streaming, making it suitable for television studios, events, conferences, educational environments and professional multi-camera productions.
The camera uses a lens with a focal length of 8.8–176 mm, equivalent to 24.5–490 mm in 35 mm format, providing a horizontal angle of view of 75.1° at the wide end. The combination of a 1" sensor and a powerful zoom allows for both wide shots and detailed framing of distant subjects.
1" MOS sensor and high-quality image
The 1-inch MOS sensor provides 8.29 MP resolution and a horizontal resolution of 1000 TV lines. The camera features auto and manual focus, gain from 0 to 36 dB and shutter speed from 1/10000 to 1/24 s.
The signal to noise ratio is 60 dB and the minimum illumination is 2 Lux at a shutter speed of 1/60 s. The white balance can be adjusted in the range of 2000–15,000 K.
20x optical zoom and wide framing range
The built-in lens offers 20x optical zoom, with a focal length of 8.8–176 mm. In 35 mm equivalent, this corresponds to 24.5–490 mm.
A 10x digital zoom is also available. The horizontal angle of view ranges from 75.1° to 4°, and the maximum aperture is f/2.8–4.5. The minimum focusing distance is 100 cm at wide angle and 10 cm at telephoto.
4K HDMI and Full HD SDI output
The camera outputs UHD 4K video via HDMI at up to 29.97 fps. HDMI also supports Full HD up to 59.94p.
For professional broadcast systems, a 3G-SDI output via BNC is available, supporting Full HD 1080p up to 59.94 fps, as well as 1080i and 720p modes.
The camera does not have internal recording and is designed for direct output and streaming of video to external devices and systems.
IP streaming and professional connectivity
Built-in LAN connectivity enables IP video streaming with H.264, H.265 and MJPEG. RTMP, RTP, RTSP, SRT, TCP and UDP are supported, with resolutions from 480 x 360 to 1920 x 1080.
NDI|HX can be added via an optional license, expanding the camera's integration capabilities into IP-based multi-camera productions.
Precise PTZ control
The camera offers panning from -175° to +175° with a total range of 350° and tilting from -30° to +210° with a range of 240°. The movement speed can be adjusted from 0.08 to 180°/s.
The built-in tally light provides visual indication when working in a studio or multi-camera configuration.
Professional interfaces and management
HDMI, 3G-SDI and RJ45 LAN outputs are available, as well as a 3.5 mm stereo Mic/Line input for external audio. The camera also features Genlock, RS-422 and LAN control interfaces.
Power can be supplied via PoE+ 802.3at or via a 12 V DC input.
Compact design for professional installations
The camera measures 21.3 x 26.7 x 21.9 cm and weighs 4.1 kg. Mounting is done via a standard 1/4"-20 thread, allowing integration into various professional video configurations.
