Description
The Panasonic AW-UE160WEJ5 4K Integrated PTZ Camera is a professional integrated PTZ camera designed for television studios, events, concerts, conferences, live productions and multi-camera systems. The camera combines a 1" MOS sensor with 9.62 MP effective resolution, UHD 4K video up to 60p and 20x optical zoom in a housing with precise remote PTZ control. The model offers professional SDI, HDMI and IP video transmission capabilities, built-in NDI|HX2, RTMP and SRT support, as well as the ability to integrate with optical network systems via an SFP+ interface.
4K image with 1" sensor
The 1" MOS sensor with an effective resolution of 9.62 MP provides UHD 4K images with high detail. The camera supports 4K output up to 59.94/60p, as well as simultaneous HD signal output. The built-in OLPF filter and improved autofocus system help to obtain a clear and stable image for professional work.
20x optical zoom
The lens offers a focal length of 8.8–176 mm, equivalent to 24.5–490 mm in 35 mm format, with 20x optical zoom. A 10x digital zoom is also available. The horizontal angle of view reaches 75.1° at the wide end, allowing for both wide shots and detailed capture of distant subjects.
PTZ control
The camera offers 350° pan and 240° tilt, allowing precise remote control of the composition. Up to 100 preset positions are supported. The PTZ mechanism is suitable for multi-camera configurations, studios, stages and other professional environments where the camera needs to be controlled remotely.
Professional video outputs and IP streaming
For professional video systems, 12G-SDI, two 3G-SDI outputs and HDMI 2.0 are available. IP transmission supports NDI HX2, RTMP, SRT and UDP with resolutions up to UHD 4K. The camera is suitable for integration into IP-based productions and remote streaming systems.
HDR and professional features
The camera supports HDR mode with HLG and BT.2020, as well as V-Log output. The built-in OLPF filter is designed to reduce unwanted artifacts and supports image quality in professional productions.
Professional audio input
Two XLR 3-pin inputs for microphone or line level signals with +48 V phantom power are available. This allows direct connection of professional microphones and audio equipment. The camera also features front and rear tally indicators for visual indication of the active camera in a production environment.
Professional connectivity and power
Panasonic 4K Integrated PTZ Camera offers LAN, RS-422 and Genlock interfaces, as well as an SFP+ slot for expanding connectivity. It supports PoE++ 802.3bt, which allows power supply over the network infrastructure. The housing measures 27.7 × 24 × 21.3 cm and weighs about 4.6 kg.
