Description
The Blackmagic Mini Videohub 6x2 12G is a professional video router designed for routing and managing SDI signals in broadcast studios, production centers, streaming environments, and mobile filming setups. The device allows for rapid switching between multiple video sources and distributing them to selected end devices without the need for rerouting cables or using additional switching equipment.
The model features six independent 12G-SDI inputs and two programmable 12G-SDI outputs, allowing flexible control of multiple cameras, video switchers, recorders, graphics stations and monitoring systems. Each output can be configured to receive a signal from any of the available inputs.
Support for professional video formats
Thanks to 12G-SDI technology, the Mini Videohub 6x2 12G works with a wide range of TV and cinema standards. DCI 4K and UHD 4K formats up to 60 frames per second are supported, as well as DCI 2K, 1080p up to 60 fps, 1080i, 720p, 576i and 480i. This allows integration into both modern 4K productions and existing HD and SD workflows.
The device supports 8-, 10- and 12-bit SDI signals and is compatible with professional SMPTE standards used in the television and film industries.
Additional monitoring options
In addition to the two main outputs, the model also offers six 12G-SDI loop outputs. These allow direct transmission of signals to monitors, recorders, multiview systems and other professional equipment without the need for external SDI distributors.
This makes the device particularly suitable for control rooms, television studios and mobile production complexes where access to multiple video signals is required simultaneously.
Built-in audio transmission and synchronization
The Mini Videohub 6x2 12G supports SDI embedded audio, allowing audio and video to be carried over a single connection, simplifying installation and management of professional AV systems.
Input and output for Blackburst, Reference and Tri-Level Sync signals are also available, allowing synchronization with other studio equipment and ensuring stable operation in multi-camera productions and live broadcasts.
Flexible management and connectivity
The device can be controlled directly from the front panel using physical buttons or remotely via Ethernet, USB-C and Blackmagic Design software. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity provides additional configuration and control options in a variety of production environments.
Thanks to this flexibility, Mini Videohub can be easily integrated into both permanent studio installations and mobile production systems.

Measuring just 21.0 × 17.3 × 4.6 cm and weighing 1.32 kg, the device offers high functionality in an extremely compact chassis. Power consumption is only 18.5 W, making it a suitable solution for continuous work in professional environments.
