The Sirui Night Walker 24mm T1.2 Cinema Lens is a fast cinema lens designed for Micro Four Thirds cameras and designed specifically for video and cinema productions. Thanks to the Super35/APS-C coating and the extremely wide T1.2 aperture, the lens offers a cinematic look with a shallow depth of field, smooth bokeh and excellent low-light performance. The 24mm focal length makes it a versatile choice for interviews, narrative scenes, handheld shots and documentary productions.
The optical construction includes 12 elements in 11 groups, which provide good sharpness, contrast and control over aberrations. Thanks to the 12 diaphragm blades, the transition between focus and defocus is smooth and natural, giving a more organic cinematic character to the image.
The lens is part of the Night Walker series and is designed with a focus on professional video work. Manual focus uses a standard 0.8 MOD gear, compatible with follow focus systems, and a 270° focus ring travel allows precise focus control. Both metric and imperial scales are available, making it easy to work in a variety of shooting environments.
The minimum focusing distance of 30 cm allows for closer shots with pronounced separation of the subject from the background. The front diameter of 79 mm and 67 mm filter thread ensure compatibility with various matte box systems and filters.
The design is compact and relatively lightweight for a cinema lens with a T1.2 aperture, weighing around 500g, making it suitable for gimbals, handheld rigs and mobile cinema configurations.
