Description
The ASUS ProArt PA34VCNV is a 34.1-inch ultrawide professional monitor with a 3800R curved shape and a resolution of 3440 x 1440, designed for working with video, graphics and multitasking environments. The IPS panel provides stable colors and wide viewing angles (178°), while the 10-bit color depth (1.07 billion colors) ensures smooth gradations and accuracy. The model covers 100% of the sRGB space, making it a reliable choice for web design and content editing. HDR10 support contributes to better dynamic range, although the maximum brightness of 300 nits places natural limitations when working with HDR content.
The 21:9 format provides a significantly larger working area compared to standard monitors, allowing you to open multiple windows and timelines at the same time without the need for a second display. The curved design improves peripheral perception and reduces fatigue during prolonged work. The contrast ratio of 1000:1 and the response time of 5 ms (GtG) provide a balanced performance, suitable for both professional use and multimedia. The frequency of 60 Hz and Adaptive-Sync technology contribute to smooth playback, but the model is not intended for high-speed gaming.
Connectivity is a strong point of this monitor. In addition to DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 inputs, it features a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode support and up to 96W of power delivery, allowing simultaneous video, data and power transfer via a single cable. Additionally, there are USB-A ports, a second USB-C and an RJ45 Ethernet port for direct network connection – especially useful when working with laptops. The Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) functions allow simultaneous work with multiple sources.
Ergonomics include height, tilt and swivel adjustments, ensuring comfort during extended work. The monitor supports VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm), allowing for easy integration into professional workstations. The built-in speakers (2 x 2 W) are suitable for basic audio, but are not intended for critical listening.
It's important to note that despite HDR support, the brightness is limited to 300 nits, and the 60 Hz refresh rate doesn't make it suitable for dynamic gaming. However, the model offers an excellent balance between workspace, color accuracy, and connectivity for professional applications.
