The Exascend CFexpress Essential ProMax 4.0 Type B 2TB VPG1600 memory card is a high-end professional memory card designed for film and video productions with extremely high bitrates and continuous recording. This model is part of the ProMax series and is designed to work with modern cameras that require guaranteed minimum recording speeds in RAW, 6K and 8K formats.
With a capacity of 2TB, the card provides ample space for long shooting days without the need for frequent media replacement, making it particularly suitable for documentary projects, feature productions and events where continuous recording is key.
Thanks to the PCI-Express 4.0 interface, the model achieves sequential read speeds of up to 3500 MB/s and sustained read speeds of 3500 MB/s, ensuring extremely fast file transfers to a workstation. When writing, the card offers sequential speeds of up to 3500 MB/s and sustained speeds of up to 2800 MB/s, placing it among the fastest solutions in its class.
The VPG1600 certification guarantees a minimum write speed of 1600 MB/s without dropouts during video recording. This is critical for internal RAW recording and other professional high-data-rate formats, where any interruption can result in dropped frames. The minimum guaranteed speed of 1600 MB/s provides stability and security when working with the most demanding cameras.
The CFexpress Type B format guarantees compatibility with cameras equipped with a Type B slot. The card is not compatible with CFexpress Type A or CFast devices, which should be checked in advance.
The Exascend Essential Pro Max 4.0 is designed for reliable operation in harsh environments. The operating temperature range is -12°C to 72°C and the storage temperature is -40°C to 85°C. This allows for use in both studio environments and extreme outdoor shooting conditions.
