Designed to work with cameras that record in RAW, 6K, 8K and other professional formats, this card delivers extremely high and consistent write speeds necessary for uncompromising reliability during long-term recording.
With a capacity of 1 TB, it offers enough space for large-scale projects, long shooting sessions and high-volume footage. Thanks to the PCIe 4.0 interface, the card achieves sequential read speeds of up to 3500 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 3300 MB/s. This ensures fast file transfers and an efficient post-production workflow.
The significant advantage of the ProMax version is the minimum guaranteed write speed of 1600 MB/s, covering the VPG1600 (Video Performance Guarantee 1600) standard. This means that the card supports continuous writing at a speed of no less than 1600 MB/s without drops, which is critical for internal RAW recording and professional cinema formats with extremely high bitrates. The sustained write speed of 1800 MB/s ensures stability under continuous load.
The Exascend Essential ProMax 4.0 is designed to perform reliably in harsh environments. The operating temperature range is -12°C to 72°C and the storage temperature is -40°C to 85°C. This makes it suitable for both studio environments and extreme outdoor productions.
