The Godox AD800 Pro studio flash is a powerful monoblock for professional photography both in the studio and on location. With an output power of 800 Ws and a wide adjustable range of 10 stops with a precise step of 1/10, the model offers exceptional control over exposure and light character in any situation. Thanks to the built-in battery and compact design, the AD800 Pro is suitable for mobile productions, outdoor sessions and complex lighting schemes without the need for constant power.
The flash provides a stable color temperature of around 5800K with minimal deviation, ensuring color consistency in serial shooting. The high luminous efficiency is complemented by a guide number of 110m at ISO 100 with a reflector, which allows for illuminating large spaces or working with narrower apertures even in strong ambient light.
Godox AD800 Pro is designed for dynamic performance, offering a recharge time of 0.01 to 1.5 seconds, depending on the selected power. This allows for fast bursts and reliable operation in action scenes. The flash pulse duration reaches 1/11,400 sec (t.1), making the model suitable for freezing motion.
Support for High-Speed Sync up to 1/8000 sec expands the possibilities for outdoor shooting and when using large apertures. The flash supports TTL metering via an external transmitter for major systems from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Leica and Pentax, facilitating fast work in changing conditions.
The AD800 Pro is part of the Godox X wireless system (2.4 GHz) with a built-in radio and optical receiver. It supports 32 channels and 16 groups, making it easy to integrate into complex multi-light configurations. The operating range of up to 100 m allows for reliable remote control, while the clear display and visual and audible indicators make field settings easy.
The built-in 40W LED modeling light with adjustable color temperature from 2800K to 6000K can operate in proportional mode or as a constant light source, which is useful for both pre-visualization and hybrid photo and video applications. The standard Bowens S mount ensures compatibility with a wide range of modifiers, including softboxes, reflectors and umbrellas.
The built-in 28.8 V / 2900 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 300 full-power flashes on a single charge, with a full charge time of about 2 hours. The housing features an active cooling system and a sturdy 5/8" tripod mount, and the total weight of 3.7 kg with battery remains completely manageable for mobile professional work.
