The ultra-compact DJI Neo 2 is the second generation of the ultra-compact drone, retaining the compact dimensions of its predecessor and upgrading its functionality with professional video specifications. The drone weighs only 151g and measures 147x171x41mm, making it ideal for taking off and landing right from the palm of your hand. Despite its small size, the Neo 2 offers exceptional video capabilities, advanced stabilization and intelligent shooting modes.

The DJI Neo 2 camera is equipped with a 1/2″ CMOS sensor with a resolution of 12 MP and a wide 119.8° lens with f/2.2 and a focal range of 0.7 m to infinity, allowing you to capture detailed footage in various lighting conditions. The ISO range of 100–12800 for photos and videos ensures optimal quality even in low light. The drone records video in 4K up to 60 frames per second, 1080p up to 100 frames per second (high-speed mode is only available with remote or joystick control) and vertical 2.7K video for social platforms. All videos are recorded in MP4 format with a maximum bitrate of 80 Mbps, which ensures smooth footage with high definition.
The DJI Neo 2 offers several specialized shooting modes. These modes are designed to facilitate the capture of cinematic shots, automatic subject tracking, and creative effects that are easy to use even for novice pilots.
Shooting modes:
Cine Mode – provides smooth, cinematic motion for professional-quality video.
Normal Mode – standard mode for stable flight in a variety of situations.
Sport Mode – a dynamic mode for faster and more energetic shots, allows maximum movement speed.
QuickShots:
Dronie – flies backwards and upwards, keeping the subject in frame, creating impressive panoramas.
Circle – circles around the subject, maintaining height and distance, for smooth 360° footage.
Rocket – rises vertically while the subject remains in frame, for dramatic perspectives.
Spotlight – tracks the object regardless of the direction of flight.
Helix – rises in a spiral trajectory around the object.
Boomerang – moves in an oval trajectory with a change in height, with the object always remaining in the frame.
Smart Tracking and DirectionTrack – automatic tracking of objects with artificial intelligence.
The Neo 2’s stabilization system is advanced and combines a two-axis mechanical gimbal with RockSteady and Horizon Balancing technologies. This allows for tilt and vibration correction of up to ±0.01°, while keeping the horizon stable up to ±45°. The gimbal allows for a tilt range of -90° to +70° with a maximum control speed of up to 100°/s, ensuring stable footage even during dynamic movements.
The flight characteristics of the Neo 2 are impressive: the drone can climb up to 5 m/s, descend up to 3 m/s and develop a horizontal speed of up to 12 m/s. The positioning system using GPS, Galileo and BeiDou provides hovering accuracy of ±0.1 m vertically and ±0.3 m horizontally with visual sensors and ±0.5 m and ±1.5 m. The maximum take-off height is 2000 m, the maximum flight distance reaches 7 km, and the flight time is up to 19 minutes. The drone is resistant to wind up to level 5 and offers automatic return to the starting point for safety.
