The Nikon ME-D10 is a professional shotgun microphone designed exclusively for the Nikon ZR camera to provide the most clear and detailed sound for video recording. Thanks to 32-bit Floating Point conversion and a 48 kHz sampling rate, the device offers a wide dynamic range and accurate sound reproduction, suitable for professional productions, interviews and documentary projects.
The microphone uses Nikon's intelligent hot-shoe interface, which provides a fully digital connection between the camera and the microphone without the need for cables, batteries or external power. All functions and settings are controlled directly through the camera's menu, with the system ensuring a stable signal and minimal latency during operation.
The Nikon ME-D10 features two specially designed modes:
Pure Mode (40 Hz – 20 kHz) – for natural and balanced sound with a full frequency range.
Focus Mode (90 Hz – 20 kHz) – for directional voice capture with effective suppression of background noise.
The combination of cardioid and omnidirectional polar pattern allows for adaptation to recording conditions from controlled environments to dynamic outdoor scenes. The microphone supports Presence Boost function that enhances high-frequency clarity, and the built-in anti-vibration design reduces mechanical noise when working handheld or on a tripod.
