The 7Artisans 24mm f/1.8 AF lens combines a versatile wide-angle focal length with a fast maximum aperture, making it extremely practical for a variety of situations. The f/1.8 aperture allows for low-light shooting, as well as beautiful bokeh and effective separation of the subject from the background.
The optical design includes 14 elements in 11 groups, including two aspherical elements, three ultra-low dispersion elements and two high refractive index elements. This combination minimizes chromatic aberrations, distortion and flare, ensuring clear and high-contrast images. The diaphragm has 11 blades and is de-clicked, which is especially convenient when shooting video for smooth exposure adjustment.
The autofocus system uses a stepping motor (STM) that provides quiet and precise focusing – ideal for both stills and video. The manual focus option allows for full control, and a minimum focusing distance of 0.32m offers flexibility for close-up shots.
