At the heart of their sonic identity are 40mm “M”-shaped aluminum-magnesium drivers. This unique diaphragm, developed and patented by Focal, offers an optimal balance between rigidity, low weight and damping of unwanted resonances. The result is a frequency response that remains completely neutral and transparent, allowing the user to make objective decisions during mixing and mastering.
The frequency range of 5 Hz to 22 kHz provides full coverage of the entire audible spectrum, with powerful and controlled low frequencies, rich mids and detailed, airy highs. The 26 Ω impedance makes the Lensys Professional easy to power from both professional studio interfaces and portable devices.
The closed acoustic design offers passive noise isolation of up to 23 dBA, allowing use in environments with background noise without compromising detail. The padded memory foam ear cups fit snugly, and the adjustable, ventilated headband ensures comfort even during long sessions.
