Description
The RME ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition audio interface is a high-end professional AD/DA audio converter designed for studio recording, mastering and critical audio monitoring. The model offers 2 analog inputs, 4 analog outputs, resolution up to 768 kHz / 32-bit, USB-C interface, AES3, ADAT and S/PDIF digital connectivity, as well as a high-quality headphone amplifier, making it suitable for both professional recording studios and demanding audiophile systems.
The device uses high-precision AD and DA converters with extremely low distortion, a wide frequency range from 1 Hz to 180 kHz, a dynamic range of up to 120 dBA and a THD below -110 dB. Thanks to these characteristics, the converter reproduces the audio signal with maximum detail and transparency.
Connectivity includes combo XLR/TRS line inputs, balanced XLR and TRS outputs, optical S/PDIF/ADAT inputs and outputs, and a USB-C interface compatible with Windows and macOS. Built-in Sample Rate Conversion on all digital inputs allows for seamless operation with a variety of digital sources and sample rates.
The compact 1/2 Rack housing allows for easy integration into professional studio systems or mobile configurations. In addition to being a high-quality audio interface and converter, the RME ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition can also be used as a reference DAC, preamplifier and headphone amplifier.
