Description

The DPA Microphones 4017C Shotgun Microphone Compact Preamp is a high-quality solution for professional sound capture in dynamic and challenging conditions. Designed for use in film productions, television broadcasts, studio recordings and mobile videography, this compact microphone delivers maximum directivity and exceptional audio clarity.

With its supercardioid polar pattern, the microphone effectively eliminates background noise and captures the desired sound with precision – ideal for filming in vehicles, tight spaces or environments with low ceilings. Thanks to the MMP-C compact preamp, the overall length of the microphone is just 15.5 cm and the weight is only 70 grams, making it an excellent choice for use on a camera or with a boom stand on the move.

The microphone features a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, a maximum sound pressure level of 146 dB SPL, and a sensitivity of -34.4 dB, ensuring clear and detailed sound representation even with sharp dynamic transitions. With a dynamic range of 124 dB and an equivalent noise level of 13 dB (A-weighted), the 4017C offers reliability even in the most sensitive recording environments.

The unit operates with 48V phantom power and features a standard XLR 3-pin output, making it compatible with all professional audio systems.
