The Ricoh WG-80 waterproof camera combines excellent image quality with ease of use and exceptional resistance to adverse conditions.
With features that include uncompromising waterproofing – ensuring up to two hours of continuous use at a depth of 14 meters, anti-freeze protection that allows operation in temperatures down to −10 °C, shock resistance, 1.6 meter drop and oil resistance capable withstanding forces of 100 kgf, this robust camera can be used in all conditions.
Equipped with a CMOS sensor and providing ISO 6400 and super high resolution images of approximately 16MP effective pixels, the camera provides sharp and clear images in all conditions.
Six LED lights with adjustable brightness allow you to capture high-quality macro images.
The Ricoh WG-80 can record Full HD (16:9) video at 30k/s, and also offers a High Speed Movie mode for slow motion recording and a mode suitable for underwater movie recording that reduces blue color and effectively adjusts contrast to compensate for diffuse underwater light . Movie and Underwater Movie modes offer Movie SR, which can be used to reduce the effects of camera shake. In-camera movie editing features allow you to split video or create movie stills from selected frames. The camera's HDMI connector (type D) allows you to play movies on TVs and other devices.
Six LED lights around the lens and the Digital Microscope mode allow for super macro photography. At a default image size of 2M, the WG-80 offers up to 6.6× magnification for astonishing results that look almost like they were captured under a microscope.
