The optical scheme of the lens consists of 17 elements arranged in 12 groups, including four aspherical elements that help to minimize various types of aberrations, and the 13 rounded blades of the diaphragm provide smooth and pleasing bokeh.
The body is of high-quality construction, moisture- and dust-proof for trouble-free outdoor shooting in adverse weather conditions, and the front lens is treated with a coating that repels water and grease and allows easy cleaning.
