The Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.2 Aspherical lens is a rigid ultra-fast manual focus model with a multi-functional fixed focal length, designed for mirrorless cameras with a full-frame sensor and Canon RF mount, but can also work with cameras with a crop sensor.
The wide aperture allows both working in low light conditions and excellent control over sharp imaged space and defocus. The ten slats provide smooth and pleasing bokeh, and point light sources are rendered with soft, rounded contours.
The lens offers click-mechanism correction of the aperture, which also allows stepless operation, for example when shooting video or when fine-tuning the depth of focus.
The body of the Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.2 Aspherical is solid and quality made entirely of metal and offers electrical contacts to communicate with the body it is used with. In addition to Exif information and in-body image stabilization (3-axis) *2, three types of focus support functions (magnification, peaking, focus guide *3) are supported
