Using the already proven 24MP 35mm Exmor RS BSI stacked CMOS sensor and the improved BIONZ X processor, the Sony A9 II impresses with its extreme speed.
The sensor offers a 693-point autofocus phase detection system that provides intelligent object tracking and Eye AF in real time. The processor performs up to 60 AF / AE operations per second for extremely reliable results in rapidly changing conditions.

The FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II also uses two spherical ED (extremely low dispersion) elements and two Super ED spherical elements, which significantly reduce chromatic aberrations without mixing colors in the shadows.
