The Canon RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM lens is an extremely light and compact wide-angle zoom lens designed for mirrorless cameras with a crop sensor and RF mount.
Image stabilization, which works in combination with the stabilization of compatible Canon EOS R cameras (Coordinated IS) provides up to 6 stops of compensation.
Two ultra-low dispersion elements and one aspherical element reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations to create sharper, clearer images, while Super Spectra coating minimizes ghosting and flare and enhances contrast.
A stepping STM AF motor provides precise, fast and almost silent autofocus, which is especially important when shooting video. There's also manual focus override, which allows more options when focusing and is useful when shooting close subjects.
