The Sony LR1 (ILX-LR1) compact camcorder is designed primarily for use with drones. It combines a large, high-resolution sensor with a low weight (243g) and dimensions of only 100 x 74 x 42.5 mm, making it an excellent choice for inspection, surveillance, mapping and other purposes.
The Sony Alpha LR1 camcorder features a Sony E mount that allows the use of a wide range of interchangeable lenses.
61-megapixel sensor and BIONZ XR processor
The Sony ILX-LR1 is equipped with a 1/1.38" Exmor R CMOS sensor with a resolution of 61MP (50.8MP for video), serious sensitivity (ISO 100-32000) and high dynamic range, and the BIONZ XR processor takes care of natural gradations and realistic colors with low noise levels.
Thus, the Sony LR1 delivers images with excellent detail, allowing the localization of small objects such as cracks.
SDK remote control
The Sony Camera Remote SDK enables remote control of the camera's menu and other functions through API integration, as well as the association of certain images with the drone's position data.
Through the Sony Camera Remote SDK, real-time monitoring, shooting on and off, camera settings, and more are possible.

The Sony LR1 camcorder is intended for industrial applications, with its weight reduced as much as possible to extend the drone's flight time and allow its use with smaller drones.
The Sony ILX-LR1 mounts easily with purpose-built threads on each side of the case and features micro-HDMI, top-lock USB-C and conveniently grouped buttons. It can be powered by mains electricity when long-term shooting is required without changing batteries.
