The Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG DN Art lens is an ultra-wide-angle, fast model with sagittal coma correction, designed specifically for astrophotography with full-frame L-mount and Sony E-mount cameras.
This is the only lens in the world to date with a focal length of 14mm and a maximum aperture of f/1.4 that is not a fisheye type.
The Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG DN Art offers numerous features and capabilities useful for shooting starry skies and landscapes:

The Sigma 14mm f/1.4 DG DN Art's optical design includes 19 elements in 15 groups, including 1 SLD, 3 FLD, and 4 aspherical elements for excellent correction of aberrations and sagittal coma. Special optical coatings eliminate unwanted flare.
The lens body is made of lightweight materials such as TSC polycarbonate (a thermally stable composite material with a thermal shrinkage coefficient close to that of aluminum) and magnesium alloy, and is protected from moisture and dust. The front lens coating repels water and grease.
The High-Response Linear AF (HLA) motor provides fast, precise and quiet focusing, also suitable for video, architectural, landscape and interior photography. The option to disable the aperture control ring steps (de-click) is available.
