The Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO Control Panel Live Switcher is a complete live streaming solution for a TV studio, production or venue broadcast with the ability to record each of the eight input signals as a separate file.
It is a compact live switcher with an improved design that is an excellent choice for any streaming production. The panel offers 8 3G-SDI inputs with the possibility to record the signal from each input as a separate file, USB webcam output, 58-channel Fairlight audio mixer, talkback support, advanced functions such as DVEs, ATEM advanced chroma keyers, adding effects, transitions, Chroma/Luma keyers, media players, SuperSource processors, Multiview mode, internal recording, etc. Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO is compatible with Blackmagic Cloud, allowing access to the material from anywhere in the world.
Since the switch allows recording of each of the individual incoming signals as a separate file, this enables the use of NLE with multi-camera support. All files are in perfect timecode sync. Editing while recording is possible, as well as sharing of the material and joint work on it by multiple collaborators. Audio is also recorded as individual WAV files for professional post-production.
The built-in hardware streaming engine enables easy streaming, and H.264 recording with ACC audio and suitable for sharing on YouTube. If the device connects via a static outgoing IP address, you can stream to compatible cameras from anywhere on the Internet, while control information, Program audio and a tally signal are returned to the camera.
If necessary, Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO can be connected to a smartphone (iPhone, Android) via USB and use mobile internet. The device automatically switches to mobile data if the primary Ethernet Internet connection fails. At the same time, the switch powers the smartphone via the USB cable.

The Multiview feature also allows a separate view to be displayed for monitoring recording, streaming or the audio mixer.
The Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO is compatible with the Blackmagic ATEM Microphone Converter, which allows the inclusion of multiple microphones. The converter features 4 analog mic/line inputs with phantom power.
With this professional live switcher, parallel recording of external media via USB as well as internal M.2 media is also possible, and both types of media can be shared on a local network via Ethernet. The recording is in H.264 with AAC audio, which provides both broadcast quality and a refreshingly small file size.
The Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO can be used in virtually any video software as it features a Webcam USB output with FHD signal.
