The Laowa Proteus 45mm T/2 2X S35 lens is a compact anamorphic cine lens for cameras with S35+ sensors such as the ALEXA 35 and RED V-RAPTOR.
The large maximum aperture provides excellent performance in low light and in print sharpness and contrast , and 10 diaphragm elements create smooth and pleasing bokeh.
2x anamorphic compression provides video with a ratio of 2.66:1 when shooting with a 4:3 sensor ( ALEXA 35 ) and 2.4:1 with a 6:5 sensor at 7K ( RED V-RAPTOR ).
Standard 0.8 MOD gears for focus and iris control ensure seamless compatibility.
Laowa Proteus 45mm T/2 2X S35 features focus markings in feet and inches, an interchangeable mount (EF), a minimum focus distance of 55cm and offers anamorphic qualities such as high contrast, amber color highlights and a 59.9° horizontal angle of view, and using an optional 1.4x adapter the lens can cover and Full frame sensor.
