Description

The Laowa Proteus 100mm T/2 2X S35 lens is a compact anamorphic cinema lens for cameras with S35+ sensors such as the ALEXA 35 and RED V-RAPTOR.

The large maximum aperture ensures excellent low-light performance and impressive sharpness and contrast , while 10 aperture elements create smooth and pleasing bokeh.

2x anamorphic compression provides video with an aspect ratio of 2.66:1 when shooting with a 4:3 sensor ( ALEXA 35) and 2.4:1 with a 6:5 sensor at 7K ( RED V-RAPTOR) after decompression.

Standard 0.8 MOD gears for focus and iris control ensure seamless compatibility.

Laowa Proteus 100mm T/2 2x S35 It features focus markings in feet and inches, an interchangeable bayonet mount (EF), a minimum focusing distance of 99 cm and offers anamorphic qualities such as high contrast, amber color flare and a 12.3 ° horizontal angle of view, and using an additional 1.4x adapter, the lens can also cover a Full frame sensor.
