The Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S is a professional, super-telephoto, autofocus prime lens with built-in 1.4x zoom teleconverter designed for sports and wildlife photographers.
The built-in teleconverter quickly switches from 600mm f/4 to an 840mm f/5.6 equivalent.
The NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S uses the Silky Swift Voice Coil Motor (VCM) focusing system with an optical ABS encoder for maximum fast, quiet and precise autofocus and subject tracking. Image stabilization provides up to 5 stops of compensation and is synchronized with camera stabilization for up to 5.5 stops (Synchro VR with compatible cameras).
Rubber seals protect against dust, dirt and moisture, and the front element has a non-stick fluorine coating that repels grease, moisture and stains and is easy to clean.
The optical scheme of the NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S includes ED, Super ED, SR and fluorite elements which, together with Meso Amorphous and ARNEO coatings, virtually eliminate various aberrations and reflections for maximum image clarity and accurate color reproduction.
The Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S has a perfectly balanced center of gravity located at the tripod mounting point for more stable and predictable panning. The tripod collar allows quick rotation from landscape to portrait position and vice versa.
The brand's renowned ergonomics and customizable controls provide exceptional operational flexibility. There are different textures on the different control rings and a set of buttons that provide fast and intuitive control. There are 4 L-Fn buttons, an Fn ring, a focus ring and a programmable control ring.
