The Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art lens was developed specifically for full-frame mirrorless cameras. The maximum aperture is very large for such a wide-angle lens, and this makes it extremely suitable for astrophotography.
The optical scheme of the Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art includes two SLDs, three aspherical elements and the largest double-sided aspherical glass element in the brand's history, which efficiently correct various aberrations, including sagittal coma, for exceptional sharpness even at the edges of the frame and at maximum open diaphragm.
The lens body is made of aluminum and thermally stable composite and is dust and splash resistant. It is equipped with a front accessory thread and rear filter holder, focus ring disable and aperture ring lock switches, focus mode switch, programmable AFL button and lens heater holder.
The Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art is also suitable for video shooting, with a step AF motor for fast and silent autofocus and the option of continuously variable aperture control.
