The UR12 features Yamaha's Class-A D-PRE preamplifier, which delivers a beautiful, clean sound with a remarkably detailed high end, rich low frequencies and exceptional dynamic response.
Thanks to a maximum sampling rate of 192 kHz with 24-bit resolution, the converters used in the UR12 accurately capture the details of each recorded signal, ensuring that audio fidelity is maintained throughout the recording process.
With high-speed USB 2.0, the low latency built-in SSP2 chip and the latest drivers, the UR12 provides fast, reliable and seamless connectivity to Mac and Windows computers, iPads and iPhones.
The UR12's Loopback feature offers an easy way to live stream. When the function is active, incoming audio signals to the UR12 (such as a microphone or instrument) are combined with the signal coming from audio playback software such as Cubase or another DAW on the computer.
The UR12 is compatible with all audio software that supports ASIO, Core Audio and WDM standard and has an extremely robust metal housing.
