Sony FE 50mm f / 2.5 G is a super compact camera lens with full-frame sensors with standard fixed focal length and relatively large maximum aperture, suitable for a variety of photographic applications such as street, portrait and documentary photography.
The optical scheme of the lens includes an aspherical element to control aberrations and distortions, as well as an element with extremely low dispersion to minimize chromatic aberrations. The Nano AR II optical coating prevents unwanted reflections and ghosts for improved contrast.
Sony FE 50mm f / 2.5 G is equipped with two autofocus motors for fast, precise and quiet focusing, suitable for video recording. An additional advantage in video recording is the option for stepless aperture control.
