Description
The Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f / 1.2 Aspherical SE is a standard focal length ultra-bright lens specially designed for mirrorless cameras with a full-frame Sony Alpha sensor with E-mount.
Like all lenses in the Voigtlander SE series, it offers aperture adjustment with just a click mechanism, which allows for compact dimensions, despite the large brightness, and is designed primarily for capturing still images.
The optical circuit of the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f / 1.2 Aspherical SE includes two aspherical elements and one with partial dispersion, which suppresses spherical and chromatic aberrations for improved sharpness and color reproduction.
The wide aperture allows both operation in low light conditions and excellent control over the sharply depicted space and defocus, and the twelve slats provide a smooth and pleasant bokeh.
The manual focus mechanism allows precise work from a distance of 30 cm from the subject.
