For fast, accurate focusing, the Sony FE 35mm f / 1.8 uses a linear motor and internal focusing, and the adjustable focus hold button locks focus during precomposing and can be set to activate other features, including Eye AF, AF On, Aperture Preview, Shot Result or Bright Monitoring.
The lens housing is dust and moisture resistant, allowing for adverse weather conditions.
