Smooth and quiet STM focusing for video
High quality video that is always in focus is easy to use with Movie Servo AF mode. The lens uses stepper motor internal focusing and offers quiet, continuous focusing for continuous video recording and blurring.
Superb image quality through aspherical lens elements
Sharp, contrasting and distorted images are guaranteed even in low light thanks to aspherical lens elements that correct unwanted spherical distortions. The lens also uses Super Spectra coatings, which guarantee accurate color balance and high contrast, and suppress glare to produce great images in all light situations.
