VERTIGO SHOT
The Vertigo effect is a cinematic method introduced by Alfred Hitchcock in which the camera approaches or moves away from the subject while adjusting the magnification angle to maintain the same object size in the frame. The subject looks fixed as the background changes.
POV ORBITAL SHOT
Smooth 4 lets you capture first-person video using the POV Orbital shot feature. This technique is fundamental in video processing and is used to show what a character or his reaction sees.

FOCUS PULL & ZOOM
The Smooth 4's built-in wheel gives you extremely smooth driving control. It allows you to zoom in on your subject when shooting close-ups, and after pushing the function button to toggle the mode, the wheel is configured into a focal length. This helps you achieve precise focus in real time and create creative images.
OBJECT TRACKING
Smooth 4 can take smooth shots and track objects at the same time. However, its capabilities are not limited to human monitoring - you can adjust the subject you want to see on screen, and the stabilizer can do the rest.
Zhiyun Smooth 4 is lightweight and durable. It has a built-in lithium-ion battery that provides up to 12 hours of battery life. The USB Type-C port on the handle allows you to charge the stabilizer also from a portable battery to extend the shooting time even further. The LED display shows the power remaining, and the 5V output allows you to charge your phone while shooting.
