The professional Glidecam X-30 System stabilization system is designed for film and video cameras weighing from 6.8 to 13.6 kg. It allows you to shoot while walking, running, climbing and descending stairs, as well as from moving vehicles - without camera shake or shake. The complete system consists of a support arm, a vest, a support sled, a docking bracket and a support stand.
The Glidecam X-30 System isolates body movement from the camera by balancing it in a relatively still state, allowing you to create shots with extremely smooth movements.
The support arm consists of 18 precision-machined bearings that create minimal friction and ensure smooth and silent movement.
Four titanium springs provide the support arm with its lifting force. The tension is adjustable on site and allows for different camera weights. The support arm can support a total combined camera and sled weight of up to 22.6 kg.
A key design feature of this item is Light-Force technology. This literally means that extremely little effort is required from the operator to hold the support arm in a given position or move it up and down. In addition, the system can be configured for left- or right-handed use.
The sled is designed to hold film and video cameras weighing from 6.8 to 13.6 kg. It consists of four main components - a camera balance platform, a 3-axis gimbal, a dynamic main platform and a telescoping hub.
The camera balancing platform (XY Head, or Top Stage) includes a quick release plate that allows for quick camera attachment and removal. Ergonomic control knobs allow quick and precise adjustment of the front-back and side-to-side movement of the camera balance platform.
The patented Dynamic Base Platform is designed to manually expand or contract. This allows you to easily adjust the dynamic balance of the system or increase or decrease the momentum of the rotating panel. Up to 2 V-Mount style batteries can be placed here.
The vest is lightweight, comfortable and adjustable to fit a wide range of operators. High durability, dual density, EVA foam padding and integral T6 aluminum alloy create a vest that can support and distribute the weight of the system evenly across the operator's shoulders, back and hips. For safety and quick release, special buckles allow quick removal of the vest.
