Description
The Manfrotto UNCOVER Messenger 12L combines functionality, protection and a clean design, suitable for everyday use, urban photography, travel and field work. With a capacity of 12 liters and an expandable design that increases the volume from 10.5 to 14.5 liters, it offers flexible space for your camera, lenses, tablet and personal belongings. The minimalist look does not immediately reveal that you are carrying photographic equipment, making it suitable for street photographers, reporters and content creators who prefer a discreet and practical solution.
The interior is organized to provide protection and easy access to your gear. The removable padded module with zipper and dividers is designed for a mirrorless camera with up to three lenses or a compact photography setup with a small drone or mini gimbal. When you don't need to carry your photography equipment, the module can be removed, turning the bag into a practical accessory for everyday items, documents and travel accessories. This allows you to quickly adapt the interior space to your specific tasks.
The expandable roll-top construction provides extra height when you need to carry more personal items or accessories. In its standard state, the bag is compact and convenient for moving around in a busy urban environment, and when expanded, it provides additional capacity without increasing its width. Access to the contents is facilitated by the practical main compartment, and internal organizers provide space for pens, memory cards, cables and other small accessories. Two side pockets allow quick access to frequently used items, while the back zip pocket is suitable for documents, a phone or other personal items you want to keep close to your body.
For electronic devices, there is a separate padded compartment that fits up to an 11-inch tablet, including a compatible iPad Pro model. It allows you to carry your device separately from your camera gear and use it to review images, work with documents, or organize photos while traveling. The FlexGrid exterior panel with laser-cut holes provides the ability to attach compatible accessories, small tools, and carabiners. The adjustable shoulder strap with aluminum elements and two attachment positioning options allow you to customize the carrying style to your preferences.
External straps at the bottom allow you to attach a compact tripod so it doesn't take up space in the interior compartment. An integrated carry-on bag handle makes it easy to carry around when traveling, and a hidden AirTag pocket provides space for a compatible tracker (sold separately). These features make the bag practical for both everyday photography and longer trips with your photography gear.
The outer construction is made of a three-layer TriTex fabric, which combines durability and water-repellent properties. Water-repellent YKK zippers, a reinforced polyurethane-coated bottom and protected areas of the structure provide additional protection from moisture, dust and the usual wear and tear of everyday use. The materials are designed to protect the contents in typical urban conditions, without the need to constantly carry a separate raincoat. Weighing around 1 kg and compact in size, the Manfrotto UNCOVER Messenger 12L is a suitable choice for photographers looking for a balanced combination of protection, organization and a discreet appearance.
