Description
The Smallrig 6108 Nano72 Power Bank is a portable external battery with a capacity of 20,000 mAh and an energy capacity of 73 Wh. Designed with a compact design inspired by mini V-mount batteries, it is suitable for photographers, videographers and content creators who need additional power when shooting, traveling or working outside the studio. The combination of two USB-C interfaces, a USB-A output and an integrated cable provides various connectivity options, reducing the need to carry additional accessories.
The battery has a capacity of 20,000 mAh and supports fast charging. The two USB-C interfaces provide input and output power of up to 100 W each, allowing charging of compatible devices with higher power requirements. Supported profiles include 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V and 20 V, with a current of up to 5 A possible at 20 V. This provides flexibility in charging compatible devices that support the corresponding parameters. The actual charging speed depends on the device, the interface used and the supported protocols.
Smallrig 6108 has two USB-C interfaces with a maximum power of 100 W and one USB-A output with a maximum power of 22.5 W. This allows connecting various compatible devices via the appropriate cables and interfaces. The USB-C ports support voltage modes from 5 to 20 V, including 20 V/5 A, while the USB-A output supports 5 V/3 A, 9 V/2 A, 10 V/2.25 A and 12 V/1.5 A. The specified values are the maximum parameters of individual interfaces and do not mean that all outputs can provide their maximum power simultaneously.
A built-in 27.7-inch USB-C cable allows direct connection to a compatible device without having to carry a separate cable for this connection. The cable supports input and output power of up to 100W and offers the same basic voltage and current profiles as the USB-C interface. This is especially practical when working in the field, where quick access to power and limiting the number of separate accessories makes it easier to organize equipment.
The battery is equipped with a color TFT display, which makes it easy to check information about its operation. This is useful for mobile use, when it is important to monitor the power status. The model also has integrated protections for more reliable operation when charging and powering compatible devices. The specific types of protections are not specified in the technical specifications provided. Wireless charging is not supported, so devices are connected via wired interfaces.
Smallrig 6108 is designed with multiple 1/4"-20 threads and positioning holes that allow integration into compatible mounting configurations. It also has the ability to be attached to a tripod using a suitable mounting system. This can be useful when building a configuration for video shooting, streaming, or content creation, when power needs to be organized along with the rest of the equipment. The housing is made of plastic and silicone, and the compact shape allows the battery to be included in a mobile shooting kit.
Despite the capacity of 20,000 mAh, the battery retains compact dimensions of 132.1 × 53.3 × 50.8 mm. Its weight is 513.1 g, which makes it convenient to carry in a bag with photographic or video equipment. CE, FCC, PSE and RCM certifications complement the technical characteristics of the product. Smallrig 6108 Nano72 Power Bank combines increased energy capacity, USB-C charging up to 100 W, an additional USB-A output and an integrated cable in a compact housing for everyday mobile use.
