The Smallrig 6285 Potato Jet Tribex Pro X-Clutch Hydraulic Monopod With Ballhead is a carbon fiber hydraulic monopod designed for photographers and videographers looking for a combination of stability, quick adjustment, and flexible control over the camera position. The maximum load capacity is 12 kg, which allows it to be used with a wide range of photo and video configurations, including heavier cameras, lenses, and additional equipment. Despite the stable construction, the monopod weighs 2.1 kg, which makes it suitable for field work and transportation between different shooting positions.
The leg is made of carbon fiber and uses three sections with Flip Lock locks. This design allows for quick deployment and adjustment of the monopod according to the specific shooting situation. The working height can be changed from 87.1 to 170 cm, so that the camera can be placed both relatively low and at a comfortable height for working in an upright position. When transporting, the monopod retracts to 87 cm, which makes it easy to store and carry.
