The Smallrig 5565 Carbon Fiber Video Monopod is designed for operators looking for more mobility than a traditional tripod without sacrificing the stability and control needed for video shooting. The monopod combines a carbon fiber construction with a fluid head and a foldable support heel, providing a comfortable platform for working with cameras and video rigs. The maximum load capacity is 5 kg, allowing it to be used in a variety of configurations.
At the top of the Smallrig 5565 is a fluid head equipped with a Quick Release plate and a 1/4"-20 screw for mounting the camera. The head supports panning and vertical tilting, with movements controlled by a single locking mechanism. This design allows for quick transition between a fixed position and controlled camera movement, which is especially useful in dynamic scenes and object tracking.
The monopod has four sections, equipped with a Push-Pull mechanism and a release button. Thanks to them, the working height can be adjusted from 76 to 175 cm. This allows the camera to be positioned both relatively low and at a height convenient for shooting from eye level or above obstacles. In the folded state, the monopod is 76 cm long, which makes it easy to transport it between different shooting locations.
A foldable support heel is located at the base, which provides additional support during operation. It allows the monopod to be stabilized more easily during static shots, while maintaining the main advantage of the monopod - the ability to move quickly. The design is suitable for situations where the operator needs to react quickly and change the position of the camera.
The Smallrig 5565 features three 1/4"-20 female threads for mounting additional accessories. The base of the fluid head also offers 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 female threads, which expands the possibilities for integrating the monopod into various shooting configurations. The built-in level further facilitates the correct positioning of the system.
The main structure is made of carbon alloy, combining durability and stability when working with a load of up to 5 kg. The monopod itself weighs 2.5 kg, and its working height reaches 175 cm.
