Description
The Viltrox DC-A1 7" Super Bright Monitor is an external monitor for cameras and camcorders, designed for professional video shooting, documentary projects, interviews and field work. The kit includes the monitor, a removable hood, an adjustable cold shoe mounting head, an NP-F550 battery, an HDMI cable, a Mini-HDMI cable, a USB-C cable, a screen protector, a carrying case and mounting tools. With a 7-inch display and compact design, the monitor provides a larger viewing area and makes it easier to check composition, focus and exposure while shooting.
The IPS LCD display has a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:9 and a maximum brightness of 2800 cd/m². High brightness facilitates work outdoors and in strong ambient light. The contrast ratio is 1000:1, the viewing angle reaches 170°, and the color coverage is 100% sRGB with 8-bit color depth. Touch control, a physical controller and customizable buttons allow quick access to the main functions and monitoring tools.
The monitor features HDMI 2.0 input and output, supporting video signals up to UHD 4K and DCI 4K at 60 Hz. This allows monitoring of a compatible high-resolution signal and its transmission to an additional display. Built-in analysis tools include waveform, histogram, RGB parade, false color, zebra, peaking to assist focus, vectorscope, zoom and de-squeeze for anamorphic images. Up to 20 custom 3D LUT profiles can be loaded via USB, allowing for preview of color conversion when shooting with Log profiles.
Power can be supplied via compatible Sony NP-F batteries, USB-C or DC input, allowing adaptation to various shooting configurations. The built-in fan automatically adjusts its speed according to the temperature of the device, supporting cooling during prolonged operation. Two 1/4"-20 threaded holes are provided for mounting. The dimensions are 187.8 × 110.5 × 28.5 mm, and the weight of the monitor is approximately 348 g without additional accessories. The removable sunshade improves the visibility of the screen during outdoor shooting, and the transport case makes it easy to store and carry the equipment.
