The Sirui Iron Star Series 135mm T2.8 FF 1.5x Anamorphic Cine Lens Neutral Flare is a professional anamorphic cine lens with a focal length of 135 mm, a maximum aperture of T2.8, 1.5x anamorphic compression and full-frame coverage with a 46 mm image circle. The model comes with interchangeable ARRI PL and Canon EF mounts, uses a Neutral Flare optical configuration for natural anamorphic flare, supports electronic communication with the camera and features standard 0.8 MOD gears for professional follow focus systems.
The anamorphic construction with 1.5x horizontal compression creates the characteristic wide cinematic image with oval bokeh and natural perspective reproduction. The Neutral Flare version is designed for productions seeking more natural contrast and discreet anamorphic flare without pronounced color casts.
The optical construction includes 13 elements in 10 groups, ensuring high sharpness, good micro-contrast and uniform image quality across the entire frame area. The 12-blade diaphragm creates smooth and natural defocusing, and the minimum focusing distance of 80 cm allows for detailed close-ups with the characteristic anamorphic look.
The lens features interchangeable ARRI PL and Canon EF mounts, making it easy to use with a variety of professional cinema and video cameras. Electronic communication allows information to be exchanged between the lens and compatible cameras for more efficient work on set.
For use with professional cinema accessories, the model uses 0.8 MOD gears for focus and aperture, and a 270° focus ring travel provides extremely precise manual focusing. The front 92 mm thread is compatible with standard cinema filters and matte boxes.
