Description
The Sirui IronStar 75mm T1.9 Anamorphic 1.5x Lens is a professional anamorphic cinema lens with a focal length of 75 mm, a maximum aperture of T1.9, 1.5x anamorphic compression and full-frame coverage with a 46 mm image circle. The model comes with interchangeable ARRI PL and Canon EF mounts, uses a Neutral Flare optical configuration for natural anamorphic flare, supports electronic communication with the camera and features standard 0.8 MOD gears for professional follow focus systems.
The anamorphic construction with 1.5x horizontal compression creates the characteristic wide cinematic image with oval bokeh and the perspective typical of anamorphic lenses. The Neutral Flare version is designed for operators who prefer a more natural reproduction of light sources without pronounced color flare.
The optical design includes 19 elements in 16 groups, which ensures high sharpness and good reproduction of details across the entire frame area. An 18-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth and natural defocusing, and a maximum aperture of T1.9 allows working in low light and better control over depth of field.
The lens features interchangeable ARRI PL and Canon EF mounts, making it easy to use with a variety of cinema and professional video cameras. Electronic communication is also available, allowing information to be exchanged between the lens and compatible cameras.
For professional use with cinema accessories, the model uses 0.8 MOD gears for focus and aperture, and a 270° focus ring travel allows for precise manual focusing. The minimum focusing distance is 80 cm, and a 92 mm thread allows the use of standard cinema filters.
